Marvin Chow

Marvin is currently a Vice President of Marketing at Google. He leads Global Marketing for some of Google’s largest and most strategic products including Search, Maps, the Google Assistant, Photos, Health, AR and Google AI. He also oversees Google’s global efforts in social marketing and the Google News Initiative. Prior to Google, Marvin worked in strategy, marketing and general management. Most recently he was at Nike, where he led marketing efforts for Greater China, Japan and Korea, as well as strategic global projects like NIKEiD and NIKE+. His career also spanned a number of different brands such as Nickelodeon, Reebok and starts-ups created by Michael Jordan, John Elway and Benchmark Venture Capital. In addition, he is an investor and advisor to startups like WayUp, GIFS.com, CapitalG, and Gradient Ventures. Currently, Marvin and his wife, JiYoung, live with their two daughters in San Francisco, CA.
