An accomplished executive marketer with infectious passion and more than two decades of
international experience, Michelle Froah, as Senior Vice President Global Marketing Strategy & Sciences
for MetLife, leads the stewardship of the brand and is responsible for identifying insights to define
customer strategies to better anticipate and deliver on customer needs and market opportunities, while
measuring impact through analytics.

Michelle joined MetLife from Samsung Electronics America, where she led the digital transformation
strategy to move the company from a product-centric to a consumer-centric lifecycle. Michelle was
instrumental in Samsung’s marketing and brand re-building efforts in the aftermath of the Note7 recall,
helping to re-establish trust with consumers through a series of unique initiatives new to Samsung.
Over her two-decade career, she has had senior roles that built brands and innovation from end to end
with Kimberly-Clark and Procter & Gamble. Michelle held the position of Asia Pacific Senior Regional
Marketing Director for Kimberly-Clark International where, as the regional CMO, she was responsible for
marketing capability and innovation across the region. She joined Kimberly-Clark as the Global Feminine
Care Director where she helped build Kotex to a $1 billion global brand. Prior to this, Michelle was with
Procter & Gamble where she was a senior leader in Beauty Care with roles across operations, product
supply, sales and global brand management on brands like Pantene and COVERGIRL. At COVERGIRL,
Michelle led the end-to-end innovation and launch of LashBlast mascara which notably became the
cosmetic launch of the decade.

She is a founding member of The Marketing Society of both Singapore and NY and holds a board
member position for the NY organization. She is also the Chairman of Brandable Pte. Ltd, a marketing
and branding consultancy based in Singapore. Michelle is currently on the Brand Innovators Advisory
Board and was one of their ‘Top 100’ Women in Brand Marketing in 2017. She also is a certified
Corporate Athlete trainer and enjoys coaching others on increasing their energy so they can be
extraordinary in what matters to them most. She holds an MBA from the Tippe Business School at the
University of Iowa as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
